The Game (Interviews)

After 10 weeks of Touch Rugby lessons, the students of 2 Respect and 2 Integrity were ready to unleash their full potential and put their skills to the test.
On the 31st of August, the students of 2 Respect and 2 Integrity gathered in the school field for a friendly match of Touch Rugby.
Each and everyone of the students from both classes did their very best and displayed sportsmanship, respect and teamwork during the match.

We interviewed a few players of 2 Respect to gain their opinion on the game and the lessons spent on learning Touch Rugby.

"Yes, we persevered and tried our very best to play a good game." - Iman
"Yes, some of us sacrificed ourselves (to be tagged) and showed teamwork instead of playing as an individual." - Low Jia Yi
"Yes, because we scored 1:0!" - Melissa

We interviewed some referees as well.

Question 1: Do you think the players tried their best?

"Yes, they really did their best and cooperated with each other." - Hedy
"Yes, they played by the rules, and they were also honest. They also did formations and strategized with one another." - JianHui

Question 2: How was your experience as referee?

"It was really tiring as I had to keep running back and forth to guide them." - Hedy
"It was enjoyable. However, I felt at risk since the players might complain about my judgement." - Jian Hui

In general, all the players and referees had an enjoyable time during the friendly match and we all hope to have one again!
